The claws of the Allosaurus do not have a sharp edge on the underside which indicates that they were used principally for grasping (like hawks and owls) rather than cutting.

Allosaurus was first discovered in 1869 in Grand County, Colorado. Large adults of the species attained lengths of over 30 feet and stood 15 to 18 feet high. They were the largest carnivores of the late Jurassic age and their remains are some of the most complete and numerous of known Theropod dinosaurs. This animal was the T-rex of its age.

This replica comes from an adult Allosaurus. It has been cast direct from the original, found at the Mygatt-Moor quarry in the Morrison Formation, Mesa County, Western Colorado and housed at the Museum of Western Colorado.

The original fossil Ankylosaur Scutes were found within 3 feet of each other in a channel deposit. It is very rare to find Ankylosaur scutes and these three were in very good condition. Two others were also found, but not in very good condition. These three scutes represent different places on the Ankylosaur's body. There are two larger back scutes and one small round skull scute. This makes a great unique collection.

Theropod's left arm, in-situ. This means it is the fossils original location in the matrix. The original fossils were not removed from the matrix before making this replica. Every bone in the dinosaurs arm is present! There is the humerus, radius and ulna, carpalia, and the fingers, including the 3rd metacarpal as seen on t-rex! On the (thumb), you can see the healed injury from when the dinosaur broke it's finger. This is one of the best (if not the best) examples of a Tyrannosaurid arm. This is an excellent replica with outstanding detail. This series will be limited to 250 pieces. All will be numbered and include a certificate.

FYI: In 2006 near Jordan, Montana, a Triceratops quarry was discovered.
The quarry contained a sub-adult Triceratops partial skull and skeleton, and elements from a baby Triceratops. The first two elements from the baby that were found were the left humerus and the right dentary. The humerus (6.25" long) was complete and dentary was 50% complete. As preparation continued on the sub-adult material, the left dentary was discovered! This one was complete, allowing for the length of the dentary to be known (5.25 inches)! With the left one found complete, the right one could be reconstructed.

Now, these very rare and unique replicas are available. Each dentary has a tooth in it! This is truly a unique set of replicas. With these elements, it can be estimated how big the triceratops was. It is guessed to be under 3 feet long, with a skull less than 12 inches!
