Note: The first specimen of this  bird was first collected at a local antique market by Mr. Zhang He. In 1994 Mr.He donated the specimen  to the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

When it became known to paleontologists here in the USA all books and papers dealing with the evolution of birds had to be re-written as previous information was incorrect.

This unidentified bird was discovered last year in the famous fossil fish beds of Wyoming. To date it still has not been identified. Limited copies are available.

This bird is extinct and was fossilized. It roamed Southern California and was a predator and carnivore. This bird had a wing span of 14 feet and weighed in at 50 pounds.
